Mandrill - Composite Truth

Today Marks The 53rd Anniversary of Mandrill’s 3rd Studio Album “Composite Truth” Originally Released on January 1, 1973.

 

“Composite Truth” is the third studio album by the Brooklyn-based soul/funk band Mandrill. Released in 1973 on Polydor Records.

 

The album peaked at #8 on the U.S. Billboard Top Soul Albums chart and at #28 on the U.S. Billboard Pop Albums chart.

 

Two songs were released as singles from the album "Fencewalk" and "Hang Loose".

 

"Fencewalk" reached #19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and at #52 on the U.S. Billboard Pop Singles chart.

 

"Hang Loose" reached #25 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and at #83 on the U.S. Billboard Pop Singles chart.

 

The album was produced by Alfred V. Brown* and Mandrill.
