Today Marks The 44th Anniversary of The LA. Connection’s Self-Titled Album “LA. Connection” Originally Released on January 1, 1982.
“LA. Connection” is the self-titled album by funk/soul band, LA. Connection released in 1982 on MCA Records.
Two songs were released as singles from the album “Burn Me Up” and “Jealousy”.
The album was produced by Cameo frontman Larry Blackmon who wrote and produced the songs on the album. Fellow Cameo members Tomi Jenkins and Wayne Cooper provided background vocals on the album tracks. Other Cameo band members contributed to the album as well including Gregory Johnson, Charles Singleton, and Nathan Leftenant.
