Today Marks The 52nd Anniversary of The Kay-Gees Debut Studio Album “Keep On Bumpin' & Masterplan” Originally Released on January 1, 1974.

 

“Keep On Bumpin' & Masterplan” is the debut studio album by The Kay-Gees released in 1974 on De-Lite Records.

 

The album reached #199 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart.

 

Two songs were released as singles from the album “You've Got to Keep On Bumpin' (Pt. 1)” and “Master Plan”.

 

“You've Got to Keep On Bumpin' (Pt. 1) “ reached #41 on the U.S. Billboard  R&B singles chart.

 

“Master Plan” reached #61 on the U.S. Billboard  R&B singles chart.

 

The album was produced by Ronald Bell and Kool & the Gang.
