Today Marks The 44 Anniversary of The Isley Brothers 20th Studio Album “Inside You” Originally Released on December 1, 1981.
“Inside You” is the 20th studio album by the Isley Brothers, released in 1981 on T-Neck Records
The album peaked at #8 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart, and at #46 on the U.S. Billboard Pop Albums chart.
Two songs were released as singles from the album, "Inside You" and "Welcome Into My Heart".
"Inside You" peaked at #10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
"Welcome Into My Heart" reached #45 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
Album standout tracks are "Baby Hold On", "Love Zone" and the title track, "Inside You (Part I & II).
The album was generally well-received by fans at the time, but it did not achieve the same commercial success as their preceding run of gold or platinum albums.
The album was remastered and expanded for inclusion in the 2015 released CD box set The RCA Victor & T-Neck Album Masters, 1959-1983.
