
Today Marks The 44th Anniversary of Twennynine With Lenny White’s 3rd Studio Album “Just Like Dreamin'” Originally Released on December 1, 1981.
“Just Like Dreamin'“ is the third studio album by Twennynine With Lenny White’ released in 1981 on Elektra Records.
The album reached #42 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's charts, and at #162 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes charts.
Three songs were released as a single from the album, "Didn't Know About Love (Till I Found You)", "All I Want" and "My Turn to Love You".
"Didn't Know About Love (Till I Found You)" reached #31 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart.
"All I Want" reached #62 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart.
"My Turn to Love You" reached }29 on the U.S. Billboard Dance/Disco chart.
The band added guitarist Steve Horton for this album.
The album is categorized primarily as synth-funk, P-funk, and R&B, featuring a heavier, more modern electronic backdrop typical of early 1980s music.
The band split up in 1983, after which Lenny White returned to jazz session work.
