The soundtrack peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Top Soul LPs chart, and at #35 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs charts.
Two songs were released from the album "On and On" and “Make Yours a Happy Home" .
"On and On" peaked at #2 on the U.S. Billboard to Hot Soul Singles chart, and at #5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
"Make Yours a Happy Home" reached #13 on the U.S. Billboard to Hot Soul Singles charts. The song also reached #35 on the United Kingdom’s UK singles chart .
The album was also their third of five R&B albums chart-toppers. Also included is a cover of Mayfield's "The Makings of You".
