Today Marks The 51st Anniversary of The White Band’s 4th Studio Album “Put It Where You Want It” Originally Released on March 1, 1975.
“Put It Where You Want It” is a 1975 re-issue of the Average White Band's debut studio album, originally titled “Show Your Hand*”(1973). The album was reissued in 1975 on MCA Records.
The album was repackaged with new artwork and a revised tracklist to capitalize on their later succes of their previous albums.
The album reached #39 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 charts.
Standout tracks from the album were "How Can You Go Home", "Put It Where You Want It", "Show Your Hand", "Back In '67".
This album was released before their massive hit "Pick Up the Pieces," which appeared on their subsequent self-titled album (AWB), often called "The White Album".
