Today Marks The 45th Anniversary of Side Effect’s 7th Studio Album “Portraits” Originally Released on January 1, 1981.
“Portraits” is the seventh album by Los Angeles based disco and jazz-funk band, Side Effect released in 1981 on Elektra Records.
The album reached #52 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart.
The song "Make You Mine" was released as a single from the album, it reached #26 on the U.. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and at #73 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
