Today Marks The 35th Anniversary of Loose Ends’ 5th Studio Album “Look How Long” Originally Released on November 13, 1990.
“Look How Long” is the fifth and final studio album by British R&B group Loose Ends released in 1990 on 10/Virgin Records.
The album reached #28 on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B Albums chart, and at #124 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The album reached #19 on the United Kingdom's Official Albums Chart.
Three singles were released from the album, "Don't Be a Fool", "Cheap Talk" and "Love's Got Me".
"Don't Be a Fool" peaked at #10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart, #13 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart, and at #50 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music chart.
“Love's Got Me” reached #76 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart. The song reached #40 in the United Kingdom on the UK Singles chart.
“Cheap Talk” reached #28 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart. The song reached #92 in the United Kingdom on the UK Singles chart.
“Look How Long” is the only album from the band to not feature it’s original members Jane Eugene and Steve Nichol, they both left the band following their previous album “The Real Chuckeeboo” and were subsequently replaced by Linda Carriere and Sunay Suleyman both contributing singers & songwriter on the album.
The album was produced by band member Carl McIntosh.
