The Pointer Sisters - Right Rhythm


Today Marks The 34th Anniversary of The Pointer Sisters’ 14th Studio Album “Right Rhythm” Originally Released on June 12, 1990.

“Right Rhythm” is the fourteenth studio album by the Pointer Sisters, released on June 12, 1990, by the Motown Records.
The album failed to reach the Billboard charts upon its release, The songs were released from the album "Friends' Advice (Don't Take It)", "After You" and "Insanity".
"Friends' Advice (Don't Take It)" reached #36 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Songs chart.
"After You" was the second single from the album it failed to reach the Billboard charts.
"Insanity" peaked at #11 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and at #62 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Songs chart.
The Right Rhythm track "Billy Said Yes" featured background vocals by Issa Pointer, the daughter of Ruth Pointer: Issa Pointer would replace June Pointer in the group's membership in 2002.
Motown Records the group's Right Rhythm album in the summer of 1990, It would be the only album release by the Pointer Sisters on the Motown label .
