Today Marks The 48th Anniversary of The commodore’s 4th Studio Album “Hot on the Tracks” Originally Released on June 15, 1976.

“Hot on the Tracks” is the fourth studio album by the Commodores, released by Motown Records in 1976.
The album peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B LPs chart and at #12 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes charts.
The album was the band's first #1 album on the R&B albums chart.
Three songs were released as singles from the album, Just to Be Close to You", "Let's Get Started" and "Fancy Dancer".
“Just to Be Close to You" peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Singles chart and at #7 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
"Let's Get Started" peaked at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
"Fancy Dancer" peaked at #9 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Singles chart, #33 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and at #39 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
