 Today Marks The 47th Anniversary of Mother’s Finest’s 3rd Studio Album “Another Mother Further “ Originally Released on June 15, 1977.

“Another Mother Further” is the third full-length studio album by Atlanta funk-rock group Mother's Finest. It was released in 1977 on Epic Records.

The album reached #134 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

A total of four songs were released as singles “Baby Love”, “Piece Of The Rock”, “Dis Go Dis Way, Dis Go Dat Way” and “Thank You For The”.

The song “Baby Love” was released as a single, It reached #58 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart and at #79 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LPs chart.

Their song "Truth'll Set You Free" was covered by R&B group Labelle on their 2008 album, Back to Now, after Nona Hendryx and Joyce Kennedy performed it on the international Daughters of Soul tour in 2004.
