The Isley Brothers - Brother, Brother, Brother


Today Marks The 52nd Anniversary of The Isley Brothers’ 10th Studio Album “Brother, Brother, Brother” Originally Released on May 2, 1972.

Brother, Brother, Brother is the tenth album released by The Isley Brothers on T-Neck/Buddah Records in 1972.
The album featured the top 40 hit, "Pop That Thang", and subsequent hits "Work to Do", "Lay-Away" and their cover of Carole King's "It's Too Late". The brothers also covered two more King songs including the title track and "Sweet Seasons".
The first single "Lay Away" peaked at #6 on US Billboard R&B/Soul chart and at #54 on the US Billboard Pop Singles chart.
"Pop That Thang" was the second single from the album it peaked at #3 on US Billboard R&B/Soul chart and at #24 on the US Billboard Pop Singles chart. Billboard ranked it as the No. 100 song for 1972.
"Work to Do” was the third single released from the album, The song peaked at #11 on US Billboard R&B/Soul chart and at #51 on the US Billboard Pop Singles chart.
“It’s Too Late” reached #39 on the US Billboard R&B/Soul chart.
The album was remastered and expanded for inclusion in the 2015 released 23CD box set The RCA Victor & T-Neck Album Masters (1959-1983).
