Today Marks The 44th Anniversary of Captain Sky’s 3rd Studio Album “Concerned Party #1” Originally Released on May 2, 1980.

“Concerned Party # 1” is the third album by American funk musician Captain Sky released in May 1980 on TEC Records.

The album reached #69 on the U.S. Billboard Black Albums chart and at #210 on the U.S. Billboard Pop Albums chart.

Two singles were released from the album “Sir Jam A Lot” and “Bubble Gum (I Chewz You)”

“Sir Jam A Lot” reached #51 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Singles chart. The B-side single was “Elementry School Of Funk”.

“Bubble Gum (I Chewz You)” was released as the second single from the album, The got some airplay but didn’t make the Billboard charts.

“Jam A Lot” was the B-Side single.
