The Brothers Johnson - Right On Time

Today Marks The 47th Anniversary of The Brothers Johnson’s Sophomore Studio Album “Right on Time” Originally Released on May 10, 1977.
Right on Time is the second album by the Los Angeles, California-based duo the Brothers Johnson. Released in 1977 on A&M Records.
The he album peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Top Soul Albums chart, #4 on the US Billboard Jazz Albums and at #13 on the US Billboard Pop Albums chart.
Four songs were released from the album "Strawberry Letter 23", "Runnin' For Your Lovin'",“Love Is” and Right On Time.
"Strawberry Letter 23" peaked at #1 on the US Billboard R&B Singles Chart and at #5 on The Billboard Hot 100 chart.
"Runnin' For Your Lovin'" reached #10 on the US Billboard R&B Singles Chart and at #107 beneath the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“Love Is” reached #50 on the US Billboard R&B Singles chart.
The title track “Right On Time” was released as a single in the United Kingdom, But the song failed to chart on the UK charts.
The album was produced by Quincy Jones.
The album was certified platinum in the United States by the RIAA selling over 1,000,000 albums.
The duo won a Grammy Award in 1978 for Best R&B Instrumental Performance, "Q".
