Commodores - Natural High


This Month of May Marks The 46th Anniversary of The Commodores’ 6th Studio Album “Natural High” Originally Released on May 10, 1978.

“Natural High” is the sixth studio album by the musical group Commodores, released in 1978 on Motown Records.
The album peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Top Black Albums chart and at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tape charts.
Two singles were released from the album "Three Times a Lady" and "Flying High".
"Three Times a Lady" peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song became their first Billboard Hot 100 number one single.
"Flying High" reached #21 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Record World called the single "Flying High" a "classically slick r&b hip swinger with cross format appeal."
Natural High earned the group a 1979 Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus.
“Natural High”was certified platinum in the United States by the RIAA selling 1,000,000^ copies.
