Today Marks The 41st Anniversary of Lakeside’s 7th Studio Album “Untouchables” Originally Released on April 12, 1983.

“Untouchables” seventh album by American funk band Lakeside. Released in 1981 on the SOLAR Records.
The album peaked at #10 on the Billboard U.S. Soul LPs chart and at #42 on the Billboard U.S. Billboard Top LPs chart.
Three singles were released from the album “Raid". “Turn the Music Up" and “Real Love".
“Raid” peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
“Turn the Music Up" reached #38 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
“Real Love" reached at #17 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Untouchables was a concept album. the album cover shows the group posing as FBI agents.
