Today Marks The 41st Anniversary of The System’s 3rd Studio Album “The Pleasure Seekers” Originally Released on March 5, 1985.
“The Pleasure Seekers” is the third studio album by New York, New York, synth-funk band The System released in 1985 on Mirage-Atlantic Records.
The album reached #40 on the U.S. Billboard Top Black Albums chart.
Two songs was released as singles from the album, the title track “The Pleasure Seekers" and
"The Pleasure Seekers" reached #22 on the U.S. Billboard Club Play Singles and #21 on the U.S. Billboard Black Singles charts.
Guest vocals on "The Pleasure Seekers" include Audrey Wheeler of Unlimited Touch.
“This Is for You" peaked at on the U.S. Billboard Black Singles charts, and at #43 on the U.S. Billboard Club Play Singles chart.
The album was produced by its band members, namely David Frank and Mic Murphy.
