Dancin' in the Key of Life is the debut solo studio album by American R&B/soul singer Steve Arrington. It was released in 1985 via Atlantic Records.
Having cut two LPs with his Hall of Fame, Steve Arrington was moved to Atlantic Records from its Cotillion subsidiary, matched with established producers Keg Johnson and Wilmer Raglin, and went solo in name.
The album peaked at number 185 on the Billboard 200 and number 32 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Three songs were released from the album Feel So Real, Dancin’ in the Key of Life and Turn Up The Love.
Feel So Real peaked at #5 68 on the Hot 100 and #17 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Its self-titled lead single peaked at #68 on the Hot 100 and #8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Turn Up The Love reached #80 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
