Cameo - We All Know Who We Are

Today Marks The 48th Anniversary of Cameo’s Sophomore Studio Album “We All Know Who We Are” Originally Released on January 2, 1977.

 

“We All Know Who We Are” is the second album by the funk band Cameo, released  in 1977 on

 

The album peaked #15 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and at #58 on The Billboard 200 chart.

 

Two singles were released from the album “It's Over” and “It’s Serious”.

 

It's Over peaked at #60 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart.

 

It’s Serious peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot R&B Song chart and at #29 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

 

The album featured the original version of their classic slow jam “"Why Have I Lost You” Cameo later released at updated version of

"Why Have I Lost You” on their fifth studio album Cameosis released in 1980.

 

Other standouts on the album is the funky cut

“C On the Funk" and “Stand Up".
