Today Marks The 49th Anniversary of Chocolate Milk’s 4th Studio Album “We're All in This Together” Originally Released on November 1, 1977.
“We're All in This Together” is the fourth studio album by by New Orleans, Louisiana Funk band Chocolate Milk released in 1977 on RCA records.
The song “Girl Callin'” was released as the lead single from the album, The song reached #14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, it also reached #103 just beneath the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
The album is rich with wah-wah guitars, punchy horns, and a strong rhythm section inspired by Sly Stone.
The album was produced by the legendary Allen Toussaint, who also produced some of The Meters' first albums.
