Today Marks The 46th Anniversary of Jimmy "Bo" Horne’s 2nd Studio Album “Goin' Home for Love” Originally Released on June 21, 1979.

“Goin' Home for Love” is the second studio album by disco-funk musician Jimmy "Bo" Horne released in 1979 on Sunshine Sound Records.

The album reached #42 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's charts.

Three songs were released as singles from the album “Spank”, “You Get Me Hot” and “Without You”.

“Spank” reached #48 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play charts, and at #55 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles charts.

“You Get Me Hot” reached #18 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles charts, and at #101 just beneath the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts.

“Without You” reached #78 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles charts.

The album was produced by Harry Wayne Casey & Richard Finch.
