Today Marks The 47th Anniversary of Breakwater’s Debut Self-titled Studio Album “Breakwater” Originally Released on June 15, 1978.
“Breakwater” is the debut self-titled studio album by Philadelphia funk/soul band, Breakwater released in 1980 by Arista Records.
The album reached #173 on the U.S. Billboard Black Albums chart.
Three songs were released from the album "Work It Out", "No Limit" and "You Know I Love You"
"Work It Out" reached #71 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles charts.
The songs "No Limit" and "You Know I Love You" both failed to reach the Billboard charts.
The song “Do It Till The Fluid Gets Hot” was the b-side of the song “No Limit” it received heavy rotation on urban radio stations.
