Today Marks The 37th Anniversary of The Ohio Players 16th Studio Album “Back” Originally Released on May 16, 1988.

“Back” is the final studio album by Dayton, Ohio Jazz, Funk band The Ohio Players released in 1988 on Track Records.

The album reached #55 on the U.S. Billboard Top Black Albums chart.

Two songs were released as singles from the album, "Sweat" and "Let's Play (From Now On)".

"Sweat" reached #50 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart.

"Let's Play (From Now On)" reached #33 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart.

The band supported the album by headlining a SOS Racisme show during the New Music Seminar and with a North American tour.
