Today Marks The 47th Anniversary of Con Funk Shun’s 4th Studio Album “Loveshine” Originally Released on May 15, 1978.
“Loveshine” is the forth studio album by Vallejo, California funk band Con Funk Shun released in 1978 on the Mercury Records label.
The album peaked at #10 on the U.S. Billboard Top Black Albums chart and at #32 on the U.S. Billboard Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart.
The album released two singles “Shake and Dance with Me" and "So Easy".
"Shake and Dance with Me" peaked at #5 on the U.S. Billboard Best Selling Soul Singles chart and at #60 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"So Easy" reached #28 on the U.S. Billboard Best Selling Soul Singles chart.
The album “Loveshine” was certified gold by the RIAA in 1978.
