“Kilowatt” is the third album by Jersey City disco funk Band The Kay-Gees released in 1978 days on De-Lite Records.
The album reached #199 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart.
The album was the final and most popular album by the Kool & The Gang protégés, It features a mix of disco and funk, with heavy use of horns, and several popular club singles, including "Cheek to Cheek" and "Tango Hustle".
“Cheek to Cheek” reached #75 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Soul Singles chart.
