Today Marks The 47th Anniversary of L.T.D’s 5th Studio Album “Togetherness” Originally Released on May 23, 1978.
“Togetherness” is the fifth studio album by Los Angeles, California -based band, L.T.D., released in 1978 on the A&M Records.
The album peaked at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Top Soul LPs chart, and at #18 in the U.S. Billboard Top LPs chart.
Two songs were released from the album, "Holding On (When Love Is Gone)" and "We Both Deserve Each Other's Love".
"Holding On (When Love Is Gone)" peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, and at #49 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
"We Both Deserve Each Other's Love" reached #19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, and at #107 just beneath the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
The album was certified platinum in the United States by RIAA selling over a million copies.
