Roy Ayers - Fever

Today Marks The 46th Anniversary of Roy Ayers’s 15th Studio Album “Fever” Originally Released on April 27, 1979.

“Fever” is the fifthteenth studio album by jazz funk vibraphonist and composer Roy Ayers released in 1979 on Polydor Records.

The album reached #25 in the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart, and at #67 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart.

Two songs were released as singles from the album, "Love Will Bring Us Back Together" and the album’s title track “Fever”, both singles were released in 1979.

"Love Will Bring Us Back Together" reached #41 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.

The album’s title track “Fever” was released as the second single it failed to chart on the Billboard charts.
