Today Marks The 42nd Anniversary of Brass Construction’s 8th Studio Album “Conversations” Originally Released on April 27, 1983.
“Conversations” is the eighth studio album by Brooklyn, New York funk band Brass Construction, released in 1983 on Liberty Records.
The album reached #29 on the U.S. Billboard Black LPs chart and at #176 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart.
Two songs were released as singles from the album "Walkin' the Line" and the album’s title track "We Can Work It Out".
"Walkin' the Line" reached #17 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and at #28 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.
“We Can Work It Out” failed to reach the Billboard charts.
The album was written and produced by the band’s keyboardist Randy Muller.
