“Supersound” is the seventh studio album by the Jimmy Castor Bunch, released in 1975 on Atlantic Records.
The album reached #30 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart.
Three songs were released as a single from the album “King Kong”,“Supersound” and “Bom Bom”.
“King Kong” reached #23 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, and at #69 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
“Supersound” reached #42 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
“Bom Bom” reached #97 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
The album was written and produced by Jimmy Castor and John Pruit for Castor-Pruitt Productions.
