A Taste of Honey - Ladies of the Eighties

Today Marks The 43rd Anniversary of A Taste of Honey’s 4th Studio Album “Ladies of the Eighties” Originally Released on April 5, 1982.

“Ladies of the Eighties” is the forth studio album by disco -funk duo A Taste of Honey released in 1982 on Capitol Records.

The album reached #14 on the U.S. Billboard Black LPs chart, and at #73 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart.

Three songs were released as singles in 1982, "I'll Try Something New", "We've Got the Groove" and "Sayonara".

"I'll Try Something New" peaked #9 on the U.S. Billboard Black Singles chart, and at #41 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"We've Got the Groove" reached #75 on the U.S. Billboard Black Singles chart.

"Sayonara" the albums third single failed to chart on the Billboard charts.

The album was produced by Al McKay and Varnell Johnson.
