Today Marks The 46th Anniversary of A Taste of Honey’s Debut Self-Titled Album “A Taste of Honey” Originally Released on July 2, 1978.
“A Taste of Honey” is the debut album by the American rhythm and blues group A Taste of Honey released in 1978 on Capitol Records.
The album peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and at #6 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
The smash hit "Boogie Oogie Oogie" was released as the lead single from the album it peaked #1 on
the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles, Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and the Billboard 100.
The song "Disco Dancin'" was the album’s second single it reached #69 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
“A Taste of Honey was produced by Fonce Mizell and Larry Mizell for Sky High Productions.
