Today Marks The 45th Anniversary of Tom Browne’s Debut Studio Album “Browne Sugar” Originally Released on May 30, 1979.

“Browne Sugar” is the debut album by jazz/funk trumpeter Tom Browne. It was released in 1979 on GRP Records.
The album peaked at #6 on the U.S. Billboard Jazz Albums chart, #50 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Albums chart and at #147 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Album chart.
