Today Marks The 41s Anniversary of The Dazz Band’s 4th Studio Album “On the One” Originally Released on January 14, 1983.

On the One is the fourth studio album by American R&B/funk band The Dazz Band released in 1983 on Motown Records.

The album peaked at number 59 on the Billboard 200 chart and at number 12 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The album released three singles, On the One for Fun, Cheek to Cheek and Party Right Here.

On the One for Fun peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at number 52 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart.

The second single from the album Cheek to Cheek peaked at number 76 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The third single Party Right Here peaked at number 63 on the billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The album was a follow-up to their third studio album Keep It Live released in 1982.
