“Feel Me” is the sixth album by the funk band Cameo, released in 1980 on Chocolate City Records.

The album peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200 chart and at #6 on Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart.

Two hit singles were released from the album "Keep It Hot" and the title track "Feel Me".

"Keep It Hot" peaked at #4 on Billboard's The Hot R&B Songs chart and at #77 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart.

"Feel Me" peaked at #27 on Billboard's The Hot R&B Songs chart.

“Keep On Dancin'” is the second studio album by Hamilton Bohannon released in 1974 on Dakar Records.

The album reached #49 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart.

The song "South African Man" was released as a single from the album it reached #78 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart. The song also reached #22 on the United Kingdom’s UK singles chart.

The album was written, arranged and produced by Hamilton Bohannon.

Prince - Diamonds and Pearls

Today Marks The 34th Anniversary of Prince’s #13 Studio Album “Diamonds and Pearls “ Originally Released on October 1, 1991.

“Diamonds and Pearls” is the thirteenth studio album by Minneapolis, Minnesota musician Prince, and the first with his backing band The New Power Generation. It was released in 1991 on Paisley Park Records and Warner Bros. Records.

The album peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B Albums chart, and at #3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

The album also charted well overseas peaking at #1 on the Australian ARIA Albums Charts, and at #2 on the United Kingdom’s Official Albums Charts.

Five tracks were released from the album in the United States, "Gett Off", "Cream", "Insatiable", "Diamonds and Pearls" and "Money Don't Matter 2 Night".

"Gett Off" peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs, #6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles, and at #21 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

"Cream" peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, however, it did not make the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart because it was not sent to urban radio stations.

"Insatiable" peaked at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart, and at #77 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

"Diamonds and Pearls" peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart, and at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song also rose to #40 on the U.S. Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

"Money Don't Matter 2 Night" reached #14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart, and at #23 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

 The album was certified 2× Platinum in the United States by the RIAA and sold 7,100,000 copies worldwide.

Today Marks The 49th Anniversary of Kool &The Gang’s 8th Studio Album “Open Sesame” Originally Released on October 1, 1976.

“Open Sesame” is the eighth studio album by the funk band Kool & the Gang, released in 1976 on Mercury Records.

The album peaked #9 on the U.S. Billboard Top Soul Albums chart and at #33 on the U.S. Billboard Top Jazz LPs chart.

Two songs were released as singles, The album’s title track “Open Sesame” and “Super Band”.

“Open Sesame” peaked at #6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, #13 13 on the U.S. Billboard Disco Action chart and at #55 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Super Band” reached #17 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and at #101 just beneath the Billboard Hot 100.

“Open Sesame” was the second of two studio albums released by the band in 1976 following their album “Love & Understanding” that was released in March of 1976.

"Caravan of Love" peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart and at #51 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

"Insatiable Woman" reached #13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart.

"Caravan of Love" became the trio's biggest hit song, it would be their only prominent hit before they splintered into solo careers in 1988.
