Today Marks The 49th Anniversary of Hamilton Bohannon’s 7th Studio Album “Phase II” Originally Released on May 1, 1977.
“Phase II” is the seventh studio by drummer/percussionist Hamilton Bohannon released in 1977 on Mercury Records.
The album reached #46 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's charts.
The song “Bohannon Disco Symphony” was released as the lead single from the album, The song reached #67 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
The album features guest appearances by former bandmates Ray Parker Jr. and Melvin "Wah Wah" Ragin.
