Today Marks The 44th Anniversary of A Taste of Honey’s 4th Studio Album “Ladies of the Eighties” Originally Released on April 5, 1982.
“Ladies of the Eighties” is the fourth and final studio album by R&B, Funk band A Taste of Honey, released in 1982 on Capitol Records.
The album reached #14 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart, and at #73 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes charts.
The song "I'll Try Something New" was released as a single from the album, It peaked at #9 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart, #41 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and at #29 on the U.S. Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.
The album was co-produced by Al McKay, Ronald LaPread, and A Taste of Honey.
