The Dazz Band - Let The Music Play

Today Marks The 45th Anniversary of The Dazz Band’s 2nd Studio Album “Let the Music Play” Originally Released on January 27, 1981.

 

“Let the Music Play” is the second studio album by American R&B/funk band The Dazz Band released in 1981 on Motown Records.

 

The album reached #36 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart and at #154 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart.

 

The song "Knock Knock" was released as the album’s single, it reached #34 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles charts.

 

The album was produced by The Dazz Band and Reggie Andrews.
