Today Marks The 49th Anniversary of James Brown's 44th Studio Album "BodyHeat" Released on December 1, 1976.

 

BodyHeat is the 44th studio album by American musician James Brown. The album was released in December 1976, by Polydor Records.

 

The album reached #126 on the Billboard Top 200 charts.

 

Two singles were released from the album, "BodyHeat" and "Kiss in '77".

 

"BodyHeat" was released in 1976 as a two-part single on Polydor Records and also appeared on an album of the same name. It peaked #13 on Billboard's R&B chart and at #88 on Billboard's Pop charts.

 

BodyHeat was Brown's last song to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 until "Living in America" in 1985.

 

BodyHeat was produced and arranged by James Brown. The cover and art work was by the Virginia Team.
