“On the Floor with Fatback” is the seventeenth studio album by American funk and disco band Fatback released in 1982 on Perception Records.
The album reached #28 on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B Albums chart.
Two songs were released as singles "On the Floor" and "She's My Shining Star".
"On the Floor" reached #36 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Singles chart.
"She's My Shining Star" reached #76 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Singles chart.
