“Cornbread, Earl and Me (Soundtrack)” is a movie soundtrack track that features The Blackbyrds and was composed by jazz musician Donald Byrd. The album was released in 1975 on Fantasy Records.
The Blackbyrds provided the soundtrack for the 1975 blaxploitation film Cornbread, Earl and Me, which featured the movie debut of Larry Fishburne.
The soundtrack peaked at #19 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Album charts, #39 on the U.S. Billboard Jazz Album charts and at #150 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
