Today Marks The 37th Anniversary of Loose Ends’ 4th Studio Album “The Real Chuckeeboo” Originally Released on June 18, 1988.
“The Real Chuckeeboo” is the fourth studio album by British R&B group Loose Ends released in 1988 on MCA Records.
The album reached #16 on the U.S. Billboard Top Black Albums chart, and at #80 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
Three songs were released as singles from the album "Mr. Bachelor", "Watching You", and "Life"
"Mr. Bachelor" reached #11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart.
"Watching You" peaked at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart.
"Life" reached #32 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Black Singles chart.
The Real Chuckeeboo is the last album to feature all three original members; Carl McIntosh, Jane Eugene and Steve Nichol.
The album was mainly written and produced by Loose Ends and co-produced by longtime collaborator Nick Martinelli, it also features contributions from Leon Ware and Caron Wheeler.
