Today Marks The 46th Anniversary of The Ohio Players’ 12th Studio Album “Everybody Up” Originally Released on April 2, 1979.

“Everybody Up” is the twelfth studio album by Dayton, Ohio funk band The Ohio Players released in 1979 on Arista Records.

The album reached #19 on the U.S. Billboard Top Soul LPs chart, and at #80 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs chart.

The album’s title track "Everybody Up" was released as a single, it reached #33 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.

The band added two percussionists prior to the recording of the album.

All of the tracks were written and produced by the Ohio Players.
