O'Bryan - Doin' Alright

Today Marks The 43rd Anniversary of O'Bryan’s Debut Studio Album “Doin' Alright” Originally Released on April 1, 1982.

“Doin' Alright” is the debut studio album by R&B, Funk singer O'Bryan released in 1982 on Capitol Records.

The album peaked at #10 on the U.S. Billboard Black LPs chart, and at #80 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart.

Two songs were released as singles from the album, "The Gigolo" and "Still Water (Love)".

"The Gigolo" peaked #5 on the “U.S. Billboard Black Singles chart, and at #57 on the U.S. Billboard Billboard Hot 100.

"Still Water (Love)" reached #23 on the “U.S. Billboard Black Singles chart.

Among the other standouts on O'Bryan’s debut are the mid-tempo title track; the elegant ballad "Love Has Found Its Way;" and the sentimental "Can't Live Without Your Love."
