Today Marks The 44th Anniversary of James Brown’s 50th Studio Album “Soul Syndrome” Originally Released on June 1, 1980.
“Soul Syndrome” is a studio album by American musician James Brown, released in 1980 by TK Records.
The album reached #63 on the U.S. Billboard Top Black Albums chart.
Two singles were released from the album “Rapp Payback (Where iz Moses)” and “Stay with Me”.
“Rapp Payback (Where iz Moses)” reached number #48 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Singles chart and at #65 on U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.
"Rapp Payback (Where Iz Moses)" is a disco reworking of his 1974 song "The Payback". Released as a two-part single on TK Records.
“Stay with Me” reached #80 on the U.S. Billboard R&B Singles chart .
