Today Marks 46th Anniversary of Raydio’s Debut Album Raydio Originally Released on January 13, 1978.

Raydio is the debut album by the band Raydio in 1978 on Arista Records.
The album peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Top Soul LPs chart and No. 27 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The album released three singles Jack and Jill, Is This a Love Thing and Honey I'm Rich.
“Jack and Jill" was the first single from their debut album and became an international top 10 hit. It reached number eight on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number six on the Cashbox Top 100.
The second single “Is This a Love Thing” peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart.
The third single from the album “Honey I’m Rich” peaked at number 43 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart.
The album was certified Gold in the US by the RIAA.
