Today Marks The 46th Anniversary of The Blackbyrds’ 7th Studio Album “Better Days” Originally Released on January 1, 1980.
“Better Days” is the 7th studio album by American jazz-funk fusion band The Blackbyrds released in 1980 on Fantasy Records.
The album reached #40 on the U.S. Billboard Soul LP's chart and at #133 on the U.S. Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart.
Two songs were released as singles from the album “Dancin', Dancin'” and “Love Don't Strike Twice”.
“What We Have Is Right” reached #38 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
“Dancin', Dancin'” reached #59 on the U.S. Billboard Dance/Disco Club Play chart.
“Love Don't Strike Twice” reached #52 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
The album was produced by George Duke.
